IOWA – The Jennings Bulldogs and Iowa Yellow Jackets opened district 4-3A play at Jesse Cady Memorial Stadium, and for a half of football it looked as though the Dogs were primed for an upset. However, a talented Jacket squad rallied in the second half to grab a 36-22 win. The Jackets moved to 3-1 overall, 1-0 in league play, while the Dogs dropped to 0-4, 0-1 in district action. Jennings will hit the road yet again this Friday when they make the short trek to Iota to take on their Bulldog counterparts, while Iowa will travel up 165 to hook-up with the Kinder Yellow Jackets.
