For the second year in a row, the Jennings Lady Bulldogs softball team traveled to play the Iota Lady Dogs in the first round of the Class 3A playoffs. Iota took advantage of some Jennings fielding errors to take an 8-0 lead in the first inning, as No. 13 Iota would go on to defeat No. 20 Jennings 15-0 in four innings.

WELSH — The Welsh softball Lady Greyhounds made school history this season, as for the first time ever, the Lady Hounds will have hosted a state playoff softball contest. Welsh will host Avoyelles Public Charter in the bi-district round of the playoffs after finishing the season ranked number 14 among non-select schools in class 2-A.
