Bulldogs rally for 24-20 victory over Indians

The Jennings Bulldogs trailed early but rallied back after a 14-0 deficit to take a 24-20 victory over the Washington-Marion Chargin’ Indians in District 4-3A action.

Washington-Marion jumped on Jennings early in the first quarter as they wasted little time putting points on the board. The first score of the game came on a William Carswell 16-yard pass from Marquez Chargois to take the early 8-0 lead.

The Chargin’ Indians then jumped on the Bulldogs 14-0 when Chargois threw a 6-yard pass to Christian McClinton with 5:39 to play in the first quarter.

SAINT-QUENTIN-EN-YVELINES, France (AP) — Brooks Koepka found no reason to be intimidated by playing in the Ryder Cup because golf isn’t a contact sport.
