The Early Head Start program was created to give all young children the same opportunities to succeed. In November, Save the Children Head Start implemented this service for residents of Jennings.
Certified as infant teachers, Jackie Bowling and Shannon Jones, work with babies from birth up to age one, during their most critical stages of development.
“We follow a creative curriculum that helps stimulate young minds and activate little hands and bodies,” said Bowling. “We can help the babies develop both fine and gross motor skills on an individual basis.”
