The Jennings Fire Department received its new tanker pumper truck. The vehicle will serve a dual capacity role. Chief Bobby Vasseur said its primary function will be to provide a pumper inside the city limits but it is also capable of hauling 3,000 gallons of water when needed. The truck will replace an older, less efficient truck.
