There is finally a market, even if somewhat limited, for armadillos. Mayor John Conner is in need of one whose carcass is in good shape, preferably alive.
The need stems from a request from the mayor of Allison, Iowa, which reads as follows:
"ToYour Honor, Mayor of Jennings: No doubt, you will think I have a queer request. While traveling through your part of the country a year or so ago, I noticed a number of armadillos lying along the roadsides as though killed by passing automobiles.
