Almost exactly a year ago from now, the Jennings High School tennis team had an abrupt end to their season due to the coronavirus pandemic. Once school began again, the Bulldogs were finally able to return to the courts in late August. However, LHSAA (Louisiana High School Athletic Association) guidelines restricted most practices, and the team did not play nearly as much as usuaL Nevertheless, the players stayed dedicated and determined to practice. Now halfway through their season, the Lady Bulldogs show much promise for the future with an almost perfect record of 8-1. The girls have kicked off the season by beating Alexandria Senior High School , Teurlings Catholic High School, St. Louis Catholic High School, Lafayette Christian Academy, New Iberia Catholic High School, DeRidder High School, and Eunice High School.
