Lady Cardinals thrash WM 66-36

LAKE CHARLES – The Lacassine Lady Cardinals opened play at the Washington-Marion Tournament on Wednesday by taking down the hosts by a final of 66-36 in a morning affair. The Lady Cards led from start to finish here, and used big games from Sydnie Cooley and Isabella Hardy to propel them to victory. Cooley and Isabella Hardy combined for 40 points in the 30-point win. With the victory, Lacassine improves to 12-9 overall on the season.

Ten Lacassine High School Family and Consumer Science students recently completed an industry-based credential for Customer Service. The students earned the credential through the National Retail Federation (NRF) Foundation. The certification measures a student’s grasp of excellent customer service. The course develops problemsolving skills to help them meet customer needs, become valuable workplace teammates,and achieve career goals.
