Lacassine blasts Highland Baptist 72-35

EUNICE – The Lacassine Cardinals came out of the Christmas break and got right back in the win column on Monday, defeating Highland Baptist 72-35t in the first round of the St. Edmund Tournament. The win moves the Cards win streak to five games, and bumps their overall record to 16-5 on the season. Gavin Moore and Aaron Garcia combined for 40 points in the win, and helped Lacassine grab an early lead they would never relinquish.
