Events run in the order of their posted dates and ONLY AS SPACE ALLOWS.Events more than two weeks away may not run until closer to the event. LACASSINE — An area civic organization is hosting an indoor flea market to benefit parish high school students.

GOOSING AROUND

Canada geese and their goslings take an afternoon stroll by the water in Lake Arthur. Both parents will stick close by their young to defend them for an average of 10 weeks, which is when they can fly. The young geese remain with their family group for up to one year.
