Jennings Firefighter Union Festival Fundraiser Held

Jennings Firefighter Union L5239 held its second annual music festival fundraiser on Saturday. Attendees were treated to live entertainment by Mike Henry (left),Kegan Navarre and Cajun Strong (above) and Kevin Naquin and the Ossun Playboys.The funds raised during the event are used to purchase supplies for the local fire department and assist with community outreach.

The family and friends of Hazel M. Touchet of Jennings are mourning the loss of their loved one who was called to her heavenly father on Sunday, April 9, 2023, after a brief illness. Funeral Services for Hazel M. Touchet, 77, of Jennings will be held at Grace Community Baptist Church in Gottes Cove at 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, April 12, 2023, with Rev. Gary DarDar officiating.
