A local man led Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office (JDSO) deputies on a high-speed chase through Jennings that ended in his arrest.

Still time to register for genealogy workshop

A group of parish residents who discovered a passion for learning more about family history is holding a workshop in lieu of its monthly meeting. The Genealogical Society of Jennings is inviting the public to a free event on Saturday at the Jeff Davis Arts and Technology Center, located at 137 North Main St.
