Still time to register for genealogy workshop

A group of parish residents who discovered a passion for learning more about family history is holding a workshop in lieu of its monthly meeting. The Genealogical Society of Jennings is inviting the public to a free event on Saturday at the Jeff Davis Arts and Technology Center, located at 137 North Main St.

ABOB reschedules show

Due to unforeseen circumstances, A Block Off Broadway (ABOB) was forced to reschedule its showing of “The Nerd” by Larry Shue. ABOB will announce when they are able to move forward with presenting the show to the public. Originally, the theatre group planned two shows last weekend, as well as two shows this coming weekend. JDEC slated to receive more federal aid
