Black pot battle benefits SWLA veterans home

WESTLAKE — Area cooks are encouraged to join the black pot battle in Westlake which will benefit the Southwest Louisiana Veteran’s Home and Cemetery. The event is open to the public and anything that can be cooked in a big black pot feeding about 45 people is welcome in the contest.
