Annual Food Drive set for JDP

Food Net, a food bank of Catholic Charities of Acadiana, is hosting their 38th Annual KLFY Food for Families food drive. The event will be held at the Jeff Davis Parish Council on Aging for food drop-offs from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, located at 210 South State St.

Bid accepted for stadium renovations

The next phase of renovations at Jerry Simmons Stadium will soon be underway after the Jeff Davis Parish School Board accepted a bid on the next phase of the project, which includes a press box, field house and concession stand and other “must haves” requested by Jennings High School.
