BELL CITY – The Lacssine Lady Cardinals opened up district 6-B play Thursday night with an impressive 63-57 win over the Bell City Lady Bruins on the road. The Lady Cards put on a long range shooting exhibition in the contest by draining a total of 14 3-pointers in the win. Lacassine rode the scoring of Sydnie Cooley and Anna Lindeman, who combined for 45 points and 11 3-balls. The Lady Cards led by 12 going into the fourth stanza of play, but fended off a late Bell City rally to claim the six-point win. With the victory, Lacassine improves to 14-10 overall, 1-0 in league play.
