LAKE ARTHUR – Lake Arthur sophomore Vivian Sketoe stole the show in the Lady Tigers’ 58-37 win over Grand Lake Tuesday night at “Nookie” Moore Gymnasium, as she poured in a career high 32 points to move Lake Arthur to 13-4 overall. The No.5-ranked Lady Tigers led from start to finish in their 21-point win over the Lady Hornets, and moved their win streak to five games.

IOWA – The No.2 Hathaway Hornets placed four players in double figures in an 85-26 blowout win over the DeRidder Lady Dragons at the Iowa Mallet Builders Tournament over the weekend to move to 17-1. In the finals however, the Lady Hornets would suffer their second loss of the season to the Barbe Lady Bucs.

‘The Big Three’ strike again

KAPLAN – The Lake Arthur Lady Tigers kept their win streak alive by pounding the Kaplan Pirates for the second tine this week. “The Big Three” of Kali Hornsby, Vivian Sketoe and Darrah Broussard combined for 51 of the Lady Tigers’ 62 points in their dominating 62-17 victory. With the win, The No.5 Lady Tigers up their record to 11-4 overall. The Tigers did battle with the Grand Lake Lady Hornets Tuesday night in a non-district tilt at “Nookie” Moore Gymnasium.
