Local man arrested for aggravated assault
A Roanoke man is being charged for assaulting 11 pedestrians including several children who were collecting crawfish from a ditch on La. 26.
On Tuesday, May 14, Dwight J. Hollier, 57, of Roanoke, was charged with 11 counts of aggravated assault.
Jeff Davis Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Chris Ivey said deputies originally received a call April 18 about a man attempting to run over several pedestrians who were catching crawfish in a roadside ditch near the intersection of La. 26 and La. 1126.
