Amazing Grace

The Crochet Family band stopped by Camelot Brookside last week to put on a performance of Christmas tunes for the guests in residence. They sang the song “Amazing Grace” in Cajun French to the delight of the audience.

Flight of Fancy

A flock of snow geese were spotted recently in a Thornwell rice field. The snow goose has two color plumage morphs, white (snow) or gray/blue (blue), thus the common description as “snows” and “blues.” Blue-morph birds are rare among the Greater Snow Geese and among eastern populations of the Lesser.
