Jury rescinds previous action on Farm Supply Road

At a special meeting held Wednesday, the Jeff Davis Police Jury unanimously approved rescinding any and all action of the Finance Committee and the Police Jury in connection with the Farm Supply Road asphalt project so that state funds would not be lost.

Seth Donald officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Auditors from the Louisiana Legislative Auditor’s Office (LLAO) recently released the results of a routine audit performed for Jeff Davis Electric Cooperative, Inc. (JDEC) The 31-page report for the fiscal years ending Dec. 31, 2021, and 2022 was completed by the certified public accounting firm Bolinger, Sears, Gilbert and Moss, L.L.P of Lubbock, Texas.
