KINDER - The family and friends of Sharon Ann McDermott Rasberry are mourning the loss of their loved one who was called from this life on Nov. 8, 2018, at the age of 64.

A Memorial Service honoring Sharon’s life will be held at First United Pentecostal Church in Eunice onTuesday, Nov. 13, 2018, at 6 p.m., with Hunter LaCombe officiating.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at the church on Tuesday, Nov. 13, from 4 p.m. until the time of her memorial service.

Blanquetta La’Shaneque Trent Abraham

Blanquetta La’Shaneque Trent Abraham, 48, was welcomed into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Monday, Oct. 29, 2018, with her loving family at her side.

Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018, in Union Baptist Church, located at 1014 S Main St. in Jennings.

Visitation will be held at Union Baptist Church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the start of the service. Burial will take place in Peterson Memorial Cemetery following the service under the direction of Fondel Memorial Chapel.

Delvecko Vonrees Nixon

Funeral services for Delvecko Vonrees Nixon, 46, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018, in the church chapel at Semien- Lewis Mortuary, 819 N. State St. in Jennings. Rev. Dr. Kieran Coleman will officiate.

Visitation will be held from noon until time of funeral service.

Burial will be announced later by Semien-Lewis Mortuary.

Mr. Nixon entered into eternal rest on Nov. 2, 2018, in a local hospital.

He was a native of Jennings and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.

Mr. Pearl was a 48-year resident of the Jennings area, having moved here in 1970 from Chicago, Ill. He served his country in the United States Navy from September 1961 until September 1967. Mr. Perl was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary Helen Porath Perl of Chicago, Ill.
