A gathering of family and friends will be held immediately following the service at LeCentre de Pere Daigle Center in Welsh.

Funeral services for Mrs. Velda Theunissen, 82, formerly of Jennings, will be held today, Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2018, at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church at 10 a.m., with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating.

Visitation was held from 2-8 p.m. Monday and will continue from 8 a.m. today, Tuesday, until time of service. A Rosary was recited at 6 p.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel.

Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.
