Ronald James Suydam, Sr., 71, of Lake Charles died at 7:30 a.m.Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020, in a local hospital.

His cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.

Private inurnment will be in Calvary Holy Family Mausoleum in Jennings.

A memorial service will be held at a later date once it is safe to gather.

Born Aug. 21, 1949, in Lake Charles, Mr. Suydam was a graduate of Landry Memorial High School.

Visitation with the family was held Monday, Dec. 7, 2020, rom 10 a.m. until service time at 20 p.m.

Burial followed in Lopez Cemetery.

Mr. Manuel passed away Dec. 5, 2020. He was born Nov. 2, 1948, to parents Drew Joseph and Anita Anna Schexnyder Manuel.

Mr. Manuel served as head chef at Boudin King Restaurant in Jennings for many years.

The family and friends of Mr. Nelson Fontenot are mourning the loss of their loved one who was called from this life on Friday, Dec. 4, 2020.

Funeral services for Mr. Nelson will be held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Jennings Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2020, at 5 p.m.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2020, from 1-5 p.m.

Nelson was born in Jennings to Eugene Fontenot and Norma Lee Roy on Oct. 10, 1957.

ELTON - A Mass of Christian Burial for William LaFleur, 100, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020, at St. Paul Catholic Church, with Rev. Jose Vattakunnel officiating.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Elton Monday, Dec. 7, 2020, from 4-9 p.m., with the Holy Rosary prayed at 6 p.m. Visitation will resume Tuesday from 8 a.m. until time of service. JIP

Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 4, 2020, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Interment will be held at a later date in Pleasant Summit Cemetery in China under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, only a small family service will be held. Blanche Sandlin Mann was born Feb. 23, 1938, and died Dec. 1, 2020.
