WELSH — The Welsh Greyhounds upped their overall mark to 7-6 on the baseball season with a 4-3 district win over the Vinton Lions at Sportsman’s Park. The one-run win came on the heels of a 4-3, extra inning win over Kinder on Monday. Both teams plated a pair of runs in the first inning, however the Hounds came up with another two in the fourth to take the lead. Vinton would plate a single run in the sixth, but couldn’t complete the comeback win.
