The new postal regulations have added thousands of dollars to the expenses of many large companies throughout the country, as bills which formerly were mailed for one cent now require one and a half cents where the bills are sent out as third class matter. For example, Bell Telephone Company which includes the states of North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa and Minnesota the change in postage rates means increase in postage expenses of $ 8,000 a year.
