Students visit Alex Air Base

LAKE ARTHUR - Forty-nine students in the fifth through the seventh grades made a trip to the England Air Force base in Alexandria on Saturday. Accompanying them were teachers Rodney Monceaux and Leo Baudoin and bus driver Louis Conner.

Arriving at their destination at 9 oclock, the students were met by Lt. Holmes, information office at the base, who showed them around the flight line on the air field.
