NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards marked a sharp increase in the daily number of new COVID-19 cases in the state Friday with a renewed call for residents to wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines to avoid dangerous spikes in cases plaguing other states.

Saints, Joubert run past Greyhounds 46-19

WELSH - Senior halfback Evan Joubert scored on the first play from scrimmage on his way to a career night that led the St. Louis Saints to a 46-19 win over the Welsh Greyhounds. Joubert raced 71 yards on the first play to start his big game, and finished with 229 yards on 27 carries and six touchdowns.
