HATHAWAY - Noah Guidry knocked down five shots from beyond the arc and poured in a game-high 23 points Friday to help lead Class B’s No. 2-ranked Hathaway Hornets to a 63-45 District 7-B victory over the Midland Rebels.
The Hornets, who improved to 16-4 overall and 1-1 in league play, hit nine long balls on the night, including seven in the first half as they bolted out to a 41-17 lead at the break.
The onslaught began early with the Hornets going on a 16-2 run over the first six minutes of the opening frame.
