The Jennings Bulldogs picked up a big win over the Midland Rebels Thursday night at Gaudet Gymnasium by a final count of 89-76 in front of a full house. The two teams went back and forth for much of the first half, however a huge third period lifted the Bulldogs to a lead they would never relinquish the rest of the second half. The Dogs trailed by as many as seven in the first half, but found a way to answer back every time Midland grabbed a lead. Jeremy Legros had a monster outing for the Bulldogs by pouring in 34 points, most coming by attacking the rim off of the dribble. The sharp-shooting guard also drained four 3-point bombs in the win, and the Dogs saw four players hit double figures in total. D.K. Sams went for 17, while Sterling Guillory and Azire Simon also put up 10 in the win.
